Welcome to the Filatov lab of immunochemistry

Our laboratory was organized in the year 1988 with Alexander V. Filatov as a chief. The lab investigates CD molecules expressed in human lymphocytes and mechanisms of HIV-1 and HTLV-1 restriction. Currently, our research is focused on two projects. First one is related to proteoforms of lymphocyte phosphatase-associated phosphoprotein (LPAP) and its role in process of human lymphocytes activation. The other one belongs to HIV-1 and HTLV-1 fields and involves GeCKO library screening in appropriate infection assay for searching and identifying cellular restriction factors, both known and yet unknown.

The lab uses a wide range of approaches, including proteomics, flow cytometry, deconvolution microscopy and image analysis, PCR and others.

Staff of the lab consists of undergraduate students, PhD students, and lecturers of Lomonosov Moscow State University  and Pavlov Ryazan State Medical University.

Our laboratory collaborates with Immunology department of Lomonosov MSU and is involved in educational processes there.
